Minneota Pool Pals Awarded Small Grant

The United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) Board of Directors recently approved Small Grants in Round II totaling $13,500. The Small Grant program is an outreach of the Community Impact funding process. The available amount of grant dollars each year is subject to change. One-time grants, up to $5,000, are awarded to organizations aligned with UWSWMN’s priority areas.

Minneota Pool Pals was the recipient of a Small Grant totalling $1,000. This one-time grant will support the purchase of water barbells, aqua belts and the basketball hoop at the Minneota pool, which aligns to UWSWMN’s health priority area.

The other grant recipients in Round II are Department of Public Transformation, Prairie Home Hospice and Tracy Area High School.
