Meg Louwagie

I have lived in Marshall, MN, since coming to SMSU for college in the fall of 1986.  I have been married to my husband, Brad, for 33 years; we have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and four granddaughters, all of whom bring us tremendous joy. 

I was a long-time volunteer and Power of the Purse Committee member before becoming CEO of United Way of Southwestern Minnesota in May of 2022.  I knew this position would come with great responsibility, many challenges, opportunities, and new adventures.  I have learned many aspects of this position and the fantastic reach of this organization.  I have witnessed the dedication of volunteers and donors and the commitment of board members, staff, and community partners that help improve the lives of those in our service area.
