Stuff the Bus Volunteer

We are seeking volunteers to help make our
Stuff the Bus distribution day successful.

Volunteers will help count and organize school supplies gathered from the donation locations on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the USWSMN office.

Volunteer helping with set up on Tuesday, 8/5/2025, would be needed
from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Prep and Set Up - at Merit Center 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

• Setting up tables and organizing supplies as they arrive on site.  3-4 people needed

Loading and Unloading Supplies - at the UWSWMN office. 

• This task requires heavy lifting as you will be loading boxes of school supplies into vehicles, preferably a truck.  6 people and vehicles are needed.

For the distribution date, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, volunteers will be on site at Merit Center at the following times.  Volunteers are encouraged to bring a cart or wagon to assist with moving supplies.

Preparing for distribution - 9:00 am -10:30 am

• You will organize, count, transport, and prepare the supplies for the schools to pick up.  If possible, it would be helpful if you could bring a cart or wagon for transportation.  10 people are needed

Preparing for distribution - 10:30 am -12:00 pm

• You will organize, count, transport, and prepare the supplies for the schools to pick up.  If possible, it would be helpful if you could bring a cart or wagon for transportation.  10 people are needed

Loading supplies and clean up - 12:00 pm -3:00 pm

• This task requires heavy lifting as you will be loading boxes of school supplies into vehicles.  6 people needed.

Reserve Volunteer Unloading/Loading Supplies - 2:00-3:30 pm.

• If there are leftover school supplies, we may need help bringing them back to the UWSWMN office.  This task involves heavy lifting as you will be loading boxes of school supplies into vehicles.  2 people needed.
