As a board member of United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN), we ask that you thoughtfully participate in this annual review for the CEO. We trust that you will take this responsibility seriously, as your participation in this rating process is important to our organization in several ways:
- The Executive Committee will review the results and present an overview of the results at an Executive Session of the board at the end of the June board meeting. As part of this discussion, salary recommendations will be made for the CEO, as well as discussing proposed goals for the coming year.
- The combined input from board members will be used by members of the Executive Committee to provide useful feedback to help the CEO be more effective.
- The information gleaned will also be used to work with the CEO to develop short- and long-term goals for the future success of UWSWMN.
Ratings will be tallied with a summary of the ratings provided to the CEO. If specific comments are reviewed with the CEO, they will be shared anonymously.
The online survey will be available June 1-11, 2023. All answers will be kept confidential and will be tallied/summarized by Rachel Nuese, Board Chair. If you have any questions on this survey and/or the process, please contact Rachel at rachel.nuese@schwans.com.
