United Way of Southwest Minnesota
Tanya Moat joined the United Way of Southwest Minnesota in June 2025. After some time out West, where she never worried about icy roads or frizzy hair, she returned to Minnesota to be closer to her family. Growing up in Marshall, Tanya has witnessed firsthand how neighbors raise their hands to help each other, and she is excited to be a part of the UWSWMN's mission to foster a united, thriving community. Her daily goal is to make others laugh and feel good about themselves.
Tanya resides in Marshall with her ginger tabby cat, Max. He isn’t the brightest cat (he is an orange cat, after all), but he is beloved.
