United Way of Southwest Minnesota Year in Review & Recognition

United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) recently wrapped up our annual fundraising campaign. Funds raised are invested into local programs that align to one of our five priority areas: health, education, financial stability, hunger and safety & well-being.  Often times, our support is “behind the scenes” in local programs that are making a difference in our communities.  Just like a theater production or the engine of a car, there are a lot of things at work that aren’t always visible but necessary to keep things moving.

On behalf of our board and staff, we’d like to sincerely thank our donors for your support of our mission to improve lives and strengthen our communities. Because of the generosity of many, our mission is possible!

The following awards were recently acknowledged in a special video on our Facebook page and website.

Awards of Distinction:

•Spirit of Caring Award: Western Equipment Finance received this award because they’ve demonstrated both corporate and employee commitment to UWSWMN.
