Power of the Purse Event to Support Early Childhood Literacy Programs

Power of the Purse is an exciting event that brings together women from throughout southwest Minnesota with a commitment to our youngest learners. All money raised will be used for local initiatives that help effectively prepare young children in our area for kindergarten. Proceeds from this event support efforts such as Imagination LibraryStuff the Bus school supply distributionBorn Learning Trails, and more!

The 2022 Power of the Purse event is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 5th at the Mercantile at Bello's, Marshall. The evening will include: fabulous purses, silent auction, delicious food, ladies' night out and an investment in early childhood education and literacy.

Tickets for the event are $45 each—purchase as many you’d like.  Tables of 8 are also available for purchase. Seating is limited. Event ticket purchases and silent auction bidding/purchases will all take place via this website.  All donations for the event will be featured on this website, including the Prize Vault, Deluxe Packages and Plinko prizes.
