NextEra Energy Resources Supports Stuff the Bus

United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) recently received a donation of $500 from NextEra Energy Resources in support of the Stuff the Bus initiative.  As a leading energy provider since 2000 NextEra Energy Resources’ subsidiaries operate wind, natural gas, solar and nuclear power plants as well as battery energy to support Minnesota’s economic growth and quality of life and moving our country towards energy independence.

UWSWMN’s annual Stuff the Bus initiative provides local K-12 students with essential school supplies needed to learn and be successful, allowing them to focus on their academic goals. With financial support like this donation from NextEra Energy Resources we are able to purchase school supplies in bulk at a lower cost.

There is still time for you to help make a difference in a child’s life so they can be prepared for school.  If you would like to financially support this initiative, you may mail checks to: UWSWMN, P.O. Box 41, Marshall, MN 56258. Please note “Stuff the Bus” on the memo line. You can also donate online by visiting www.unitedwayswmn.org/STB

Thanks to NextEra Energy Resources for supporting Stuff the Bus!
