Ag Plus Cooperative Invests in United Way of Southwest Minnesota

Ag Plus Cooperative staff held their second annual soup/chili cook-off over three days’ time in their Canby, Ghent and Marshall locations to benefit United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN). This year’s options included wild rice soup, cheeseburger soup, chili and grilled cheese sandwiches, or Irish stew.  From this fundraiser, Ag Plus and their employees raised $6,450.

To top that off, Land O’Lakes Cooperative matched that amount for an additional $6,450. The Land O’Lakes Foundation was pleased to match this member cooperative donation to help enhance the quality of life in local communities.  Their matching funds will be used for hunger relief program support to communities in southwest Minnesota.

We are so thankful to Ag Plus, their employees and Land O’Lakes Foundation for their tremendous investment of $12,900 that will be invested to improve the lives of every person in every community, every day of the year throughout our service area.

Ag Plus Cooperative serves the needs of their patrons with locations across Southwest Minnesota. Their Agronomy division offers fertilizer, crop protection products, seed, precision equipment, crop insurance, application services and much more.
