Building Brighter Schools Days Together

Our Stuff the Bus initiative is more than just providing K-12 students with basic school supplies. It's about giving them the tools to learn, succeed, and thrive. When students have these tools, it not only eases the burdens for children and parents but also alleviates stress, builds confidence, and helps students thrive. 

How You Can Support Stuff the Bus in 2026

• Cash or check donations can be mailed to United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN), PO Box 41, Marshall, MN 56258. Note "Stuff the Bus" in the memo field.

• Credit card donations can be made through our secure online giving platform by clicking here.

• CLICK HERE for a list of supplies we typically collect and distribute.

• Host a collection bin at your business or place of worship. It can be an exclusive bin to your organization and/or a public drop-off site. Contact us at 507-929-2273 or email us at unitedway@unitedwayswmn.org if you're interested in hosting a drop-off bin. 

• Check back for a list of sites throughout our service area where you can drop off school supplies, starting in July. You can also bring your new school supplies to our office, located at 800 East Main Street in Marshall.
