Bremer Bank 75th Anniversary Expands Partnership with United Way

The United Way of Southwest Minnesota is a recipient of 150 backpacks filled with supplies from Bremer Bank to support the Stuff the Bus initiative.  In April, Bremer’s CEO, Jeanne Craine, announced the expansion of the partnership between Bremer Bank with the United Way as part of Bremer Bank’s 75th Anniversary Celebration.   Part of this initiative is distributing more than 5,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to children throughout the communities of Bremer Bank locations.

Service Center employees filled the backpacks earlier in June and they were distributed to each Bremer Bank location.  United Way of Southwest Minnesota is proud to continually partner with our local Bremer Bank through various initiatives and partnerships.  Thank you for LIVING UNITED.

Stuff the Bus engages dozens of volunteers to collect, sort, pack and distribute supplies and backpacks to elementary, middle and high school students.   Stuff the Bus means that students can create and learn to their full potential without the worry that they don’t have the basic tools needed to reach their academic goals.

In 2018, United Way of Southwest Minnesota provided 67,003 school supplies to nearly 4,000 students attending 23 area schools. To learn more or to volunteer, visit our website at www.UnitedWaySWMN.org.
