United Way of Southwest Minnesota Announces Personal Hygiene Drive September 11th- October 27th

United Way of Southwest Minnesota is coordinating a personal hygiene drive to benefit area food shelves, crisis programs, schools, etc. Personal hygiene items are an on-going need at various schools and human service providers. They are also not often able to be purchased at low cost by providers who may be eligible to purchase food items from a food bank to serve children, families and seniors in need.

United Way of Southwest Minnesota volunteers will pack kits for distribution. We will continue to accept/collect items on an ongoing basis and engage volunteers to assist after the targeted drive is complete. This is an ongoing need. All kits will benefit youth, families and seniors in the United Way of Southwest Minnesota service area. The United Way of Southwest Minnesota serves Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine and portions of Cottonwood, Lac qui Parle, Nobles and Redwood counties. Only brand new; unopened items will be accepted.
