- Special Community Project Grant Deadline February 1, 2013

February 1, 2013 is the deadline for applications for the second round of grants from the 2012-13 Special Community Project Grant fund.

This past fall United Way awarded grants totaling $11,200 to three different organizations from this fund.  $15,000 was targeted in July for use by area non-profit organizations during 2012-13 to better serve area residents during this fiscal year by United Way of Southwest Minnesota.

Organizations can download the Special Community Project Grant application and read more about the Goals for the Common Good at the "Your United Way - Community Impact" section of UnitedWaySWMN.org or contact United Way of Southwest Minnesota at 507-929-2273.  All Special Community Project Grant applications will be reviewed by a team of local volunteers who will make recommendations regarding funding to the United Way of Southwest Minnesota board of directors.

United Way of Southwest Minnesota is an autonomous, local organization working to create lasting changes in people's lives and the communities in Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine and western Redwood Counties of Minnesota.
