Canby Developmental Achievement Center

The Canby Developmental Achievement Center was awarded a Venture Grant from United Way of Southwest Minnesota in September, 2010.  Following are comments from their final report form.  "The purchase of the baler helps us to bale our shrink wrap in 1000 lb. bales.  The clients 'clean' the shrink wrap for preparation.  This provides them with rewarding, innovative employment.  We will work to expand our collection of shrink wrap to reduce waste and landfill costs.  The clinets that go to the businesses to pick up the shrink wrap feel a big part of the community and our customers have been wonderful to work with.  THANK YOU UNITED WAY!"
