DINE OUT FOR UNITED WAY! 

Restaurant Special Event Fundraisers!!

Many local restaurants are hosting special events to help raise funds for United Way of Southwest Minnesota.  This is just another way for the restaurants, their employees, and their patrons to LIVE UNITED.  Following is a list of restaurants holding special fundraisers this fall.  Check back often, as the list will be updated!  Watch for your opportunity to LIVE UNITED at County Fair Deli and The Daily Grind.

If you are a restaurant owner or manager in our service area, and are interested in hosting a "Dine Out for United Way" event between now and December 15, 2008, please contact Ruth at 507-929-2273 to discuss the possibilities! 

 Dine out for United Way "Wine Tasting Event"

Come join us for an evening of WINE TASTING to be held on Friday, November 21, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Landmark Bistro.  A Silent Auction will be held during the event and there will be hors d'oeuvres and various wine selections available.    CLICK HERE for the complete flyer.  Tickets ($25 per person or $40 per couple) may be purchased at the Landmark Bistro, Marshall Liquor Store, Valley Discount Liquor in Green Valley, HyVee or the United Way of Southwest Minnesota.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of Southwest Minnesota.

Dine out for United Way at Pizza Hut in Marshall

Dine Out for United Way at Papa John's Pizza

Walk into Papa John's Pizza any day October 19-25 and November 2-8, 2008, and make a $5 donation to United Way of Southwest Minnesota.  When you do this, Papa John's will give you a free MEDIUM one-topping pizza.  CLICK HERE for details!

NOTE:  There is a limit of 2 pizzas per person or 10 pizzas per business per day.  If you want to order more than 10, you must call 1 week ahead of time.  Good on dine-in or carry out only.

Dine Out for United Way at Bootlegger's Supper Club in Granite Falls

Dine at Bootlegger's Supper Club in Granite Falls on any Thursday during October, 2008, and they will donate $1 for each meal ordered (excluding appetizers or salad bar) to United Way of Southwest Minnesota.  CLICK HERE for more details.

Dine Out for United Way at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Join us at the Marshall Applebee's location for an all you can eat Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, November 1, from 8 - 10 a.m.  Tickets are $5 per adult and $3 for children and will be available at the door and at various locations prior to the event.  Click here for complete information.

Dine Out for United Way at Cold Stone Creamery's Celebrity Day

All week (October 19 - 25) a portion of cake sales (including certificates) at Cold Stone Creamery will be donated to United Way of Southwest Minnesota.

Additionally, join us from 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22.  This will be "Celebrity Mixer" night.  Local celebrities will be mixing up your favorite Cold Stone Creamery treats.  Cold Stone Creamery will donate 25% of all sales and all tips collected during this time frame.  So, join us for an extra fun and delicious dessert!  CLICK HERE for more information.

Dine Out for United Way at Hardee's - Marshall and Granite Falls Locations

You can LIVE UNITED while eating at Hardee's in Marshall and in Granite Falls.  Hardee's will donate 12% of their total sales on Tuesday, October 28, at the Marshall location, and on Wednesday, October 29, at the Granite Falls location, to United Way of Southwest Minnesota.  To learn more about this event, CLICK HERE.

Dine out for United Way at Subway on Sunday, November 9, 2008, at the following locations:

Would you like to join the LIVE UNITED movement by having a FREE scoop of frozen yogurt or soft serve ice cream at Burger King?  This is your chance!  For every scoop of frozen yogurt or soft serve ice cream (one per individual please) given away at Burger King on Monday, November 10, from 5 - 9 p.m., Burger King will donate $1 to United Way of Southwest Minnesota.  Does it get any better than that?  Click here for the complete flyer.
